What Our Students Say

The Bootcamp Instructor course was informative and FUN! I enjoyed learning all the different games for bootcamp class. The marketing phase is a BIG help. God bless you and thank you FEO!
Wonderful material and good delivery! I learnt a lot to build up my own fitness and help my clients. I will continue to enrol in different courses and build up my knowledge base to help myself and others. Thank you!
Just finished the Mobility Level 1 course with JP. I learned so much. As a 63 year old, this info is invaluable. I’m already using what I learned for myself as well as my clients. High recommend!
I'm an NASM CPT, and was so happy to find curriculum on Kettlebells for my CEU's. I love using Kettlebell training for myself and my clients, so learning even more about Kettlebell techniques and training tips is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you Fitness Education Online!!
The course was very thorough and the instructors were clear on their instructions and demonstrations.
I recently completed the 'Training Older Adults 1' course, and I found it incredibly valuable. The content was well-structured, evidence-based, and packed with practical strategies that I could immediately apply with my clients. Highly recommend it to any fitness professional looking to specialize in this growing area!
Overall, I have completed two certifications with FEO: Training Older Adults and Mobility Essentials. The content is very comprehensive and easy to follow. Both have given me the necessary ceus I need for NASM and AFAA. Highly recommend.
Hi, my name is Daniela and it is my 2nd and respectively 3rd time I am opting for a course from Fitness Education online ! Very well structured and comprehensive courses and very easy to digest. Highly recommended. Kettlebell Bundle was a breeze to go through , very informative too.
Thank you very much !
My first day back at work, after taking the Training Older Adult course, I felt much more confident coaching & guiding seniors with arthritis and osteoporosis.
Informative, practical and results driven.
Very informative and fun courses. I’ve now completed 4 (resistance band training, training females level 1&2, and pre- and post-natal training) and have enjoyed all of them. I can listen to the courses while commuting, and go back and listen as many times as I need. The courses are also affordable which is a bonus! LETS GO BLUE JAYS!! ⚾️⚾️
The Special Populations Level 1course was very well presented, easy to follow especially being self paced!
I have used fitness education online as a way to obtain my CEC credits. I completed both the kettlebell one and two courses. The courses were easy to navigate with minimal reading and lots of video technique. Assessments were not written, but interactive by demonstrating what you have learned with kettlebells. I will definitely be continuing to use this company for further CEC credits.
I have been on the fitness industry for about 8 years now. I have taken two courses through Online education, Resistance band essentials and now I just completed Female Training Specialist - Level 1

I found both courses to be beneficial from the amount of information and the practical aspects shown in the courses. The presenters and instructors are top notch.

I would recommend either courses to those new to the industry and also those who might want to expand their skill set.
I thoroughly enjoyed learning from the presenters and materials covered in Programming Essentials for Fitness Professionals. Each section had good and clear information and examples to draw from. I look forward to continuing these online offerings to supplement the in-person classes I am taking through Canfit Pro. Thanks
Learned a lot from the various speakers/trainers from the Programming Essentials course package. Would recommend if you want to learn about programming for different goals
I’ve been in the fitness industry for 15 years, and am constantly looking for new ways to improve the lives of clients through fitness. I happened to stumble across FEO on fb and I could have been more lucky to find this amazing resource ! I took the Programming Essentials level 1 and 2 and found it so informative and well put together. Every year the industry changes and with that so should the way we approach training. These courses are clear concise and very well formatted. I recommend them to new and old trainers alike as well as fitness enthusiasts and athletes 🙂
I have been in the industry for 7 years. I found a wide selection of courses to complete my CEC’s. I have taken two so far, the latest was Training Female Clients level 1. I love how the courses are online and our self-paced. The mini quizzes in between were fantastic to make sure I am comprehending the information given correctly. These courses are fantastic for anyone who needs to Get there CEC’s Or just for more information on a subject.

-Jen Rosen
I completed both Mobility Essentials Level 1 and Level 2, and I found the information extremely valuable.

I’m genuinely interested in these topics and currently reading Anatomy Trains by Thomas Myers, so it was especially useful to receive practical applications of the concepts — structured flows and actionable movement strategies that can be implemented immediately.

The instructor presented the material in a very structured way, while keeping the tone engaging and slightly playful, which made the learning process enjoyable rather than overly academic or dry.

I also appreciated the additional materials provided alongside the course.

If I had to suggest one improvement, I would say that incorporating more visual aids could enhance the learning experience even further. That said, this did not affect the quality or value of the content itself. Perhaps we are simply becoming accustomed to increasingly high production standards in online education.

Overall, it was a very worthwhile experience, and I’m glad I took both levels.
I’m from southeastern Ohio in the US. I’ve been a CPT for about 4 years. I just finished the Training Older Adults Level 1 course. I appreciated the practical examples of what exercises to use and the many modifications available, not just theory! Surprisingly this course would be great for most trainers that work in the community setting, even if seniors aren’t your main clients. There were applications for injuries, kids, seniors, differently abled individuals, and those new to fitness, etc!

Personal Trainer Certification

Frequenty Asked Questions (FAQs)

In the United States and Canada, this course is best described as an International Personal Trainer Certification.

It awards a professional certification upon completion, based on internationally recognised standards.

Yes. This certification is delivered through an approved international awarding organisation and is regulated through the UK’s national qualifications system. It is aligned with professional industry standards for personal trainers.

No. This course is not NCCA-accredited.

This Personal Trainer certification follows a different pathway. It is delivered through an internationally regulated education system rather than a US exam-accreditation body, which is what allows it to support international recognition and portability, rather than being limited to the US market.

Yes. Upon successful completion, you earn a Personal Trainer certification, and you may describe yourself as a Certified Personal Trainer

Acceptance depends on the individual gym, studio, or employer.

Many US gyms accept internationally recognised certifications, especially for independent trainers, online coaches, private studios, and self-employed professionals. We recommend checking directly with any employer you plan to work with.

The US does not have a national licensing system for personal trainers. This means employment requirements are set by gyms and employers, not the government.

This certification meets international professional standards, which many employers consider acceptable, but final acceptance is always at the employer’s discretion.

Yes.

On completion of the course you can register with CIMSPA (UK’s professional standards body for fitness and physical activity professionals).

CIMSPA is a mmber of iCREPs, the global registry for exercise professionals, which supports international recognition and portability of fitness qualifications.

Yes — outside the US.
The qualification is regulated through the UK’s national education framework, which is government-overseen. While the US does not regulate personal training qualifications, this provides an additional layer of credibility and quality assurance.

This certification is different in structure, not lesser.
US certifications are typically exam-based credentials, while this program is a comprehensive professional qualification that includes structured learning, assessment, and practical standards aligned with international frameworks.

Yes. This certification is well-suited for:

  • Online coaching

  • Self-employed trainers

  • Private studios

  • International or remote clients

Online coaching in particular does not require US-specific accreditation, making international certifications a strong option.

Yes. If you plan to train clients in the US, you should obtain personal trainer liability insurance from a US provider. Insurance requirements are separate from certification and vary by provider.

This certification is ideal for aspiring personal trainers and coaches who want an internationally recognised qualification that allows them to work online or across multiple countries, rather than being limited to a single market.
