Whether helping clients recover from injuries, improve bone density, build strength, or break through personal barriers, her focus remains on supporting lifelong vitality.
One of the most impactful lessons Sarah teaches her clients is the importance of mastering the basics and staying consistent.
“The fitness world is full of noise, misinformation, passing trends and fancy gadgets,” she explains. “True progress comes from moving week after week, working hard, and staying patient and consistent.”
Her message is a powerful reminder that foundational habits, supported by science and consistency, continue to outperform quick fixes every time.

With 33 years of experience in the fitness industry, Julie Hodge has dedicated her work to helping women realize that strength, vitality, and transformation are still possible during midlife and menopause.
For Julie, the most rewarding part of coaching women through menopause is watching them rediscover what they are truly capable of achieving.
“When she thought her best years were behind her? That’s everything,” she says.
Julie emphasizes that one of the most critical priorities for women in midlife is building and preserving lean muscle mass. She explains that muscle health plays a central role in metabolism, recovery, insulin sensitivity, long-term health, and overall quality of life as women age.
Her coaching philosophy also encourages women to stop searching for a single “magic fix” and instead focus on the bigger lifestyle foundations that truly move the needle: sleep, nutrition, stress management, and strength training.
Julie’s ability to simplify complex health information while cutting through misinformation has made her a trusted voice for women looking for practical and sustainable guidance during menopause.

Heather Yancey has been in the fitness industry since 2009 and has become known for helping women in menopause build confidence, resilience, and strength during a phase of life that is often misunderstood.
Her favorite part of working with women in menopause is seeing them realize they have never felt stronger or more capable.
“Some of them are grandmas,” Heather shares, “and they say they’ve never been in better shape. It’s beautiful and powerful.”
Heather encourages women to completely rewrite the narrative around aging and menopause. Rather than seeing this chapter as a decline, she believes it can become one of the most rewarding and empowering seasons of life.
She strongly advocates for building muscle mass during menopause, emphasizing its importance for healthy aging, body composition, insulin sensitivity, and osteoporosis prevention.
“It’s the bank account we need to feed consistently in menopause,” she explains.
Her message continues to inspire women to aim higher, think bigger, and embrace strength training as a long-term investment in their future health.

Miriam McCrea brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work with women navigating perimenopause and menopause.
After spending years in the natural and organic products industry and practicing as a classical homeopath, Miriam became certified as a personal trainer at age 50. Over the past several years, her work has increasingly focused on helping midlife women reconnect with their bodies through supportive and sustainable fitness practices.
Miriam says her favorite part of working with women during this phase of life is helping them move away from guilt, frustration, and burnout.
“Many of my clients come in feeling discouraged after years of caregiving,” she explains. “Their bodies are changing, and things can feel out of their control.”
Her coaching philosophy centers around consistency over perfection. She encourages women to let go of the “all or nothing” mindset and instead focus on manageable habits like regular strength training, walking, prioritizing protein and fiber, and supporting recovery and sleep.
“When clients understand that ‘enough’ done consistently works, everything starts to change,” she says.
Her approach offers women a more compassionate and realistic path toward long-term health and confidence.

Amy Whoa’s path into the fitness industry was shaped by extraordinary resilience.
After surviving two near-fatal bicycle accidents in San Francisco, Amy spent years rebuilding her body and life through fitness, nutrition, mindset work, and meditation. Those experiences eventually became the foundation of her business, Disco Wellness.
Today, Amy uses those same principles to help women navigate menopause and other major life transitions with more strength, compassion, and self-connection.
Her favorite part of coaching women through menopause is helping them move through a phase of life that can often feel frustrating, unfamiliar, and deeply personal.
“I love helping women feel stronger, more supported, and more connected to themselves during this stage of life,” she shares.
One of Amy’s biggest messages to clients is simple but powerful: wellness should feel enjoyable and sustainable.
“Have fun with wellness,” she says. “You do not need to force yourself into someone else’s routine or follow every trend online.”
Instead, Amy encourages women to build a personalized toolbox of movement, nutrition, and self-care habits that can support them for life — not just for temporary goals or quick results.
